2000 Westerly Starfire in front
1998 Westerly Starfire in back

They're not exactly twins, though. The 1998 is thinner than the 2000, and the 1998 has SD1s where the 2000 came with Fenders, so let's consider them to be fraternal twins.

Nice! This would be next on my list of Guilds to buy, along with an X550.

Ummm..... Not sure what you're doing there but if you're trying to make another one... I don't think it's going to work...

I was a little disappointed when I saw it was a picture of guitars, but I must admit they are really nice blonds!
Looking forward to the comparison review.

I just traded a SFlV with sd-1s to Bill Ashton.

I will always have a twinge of regret, but Bill loves it! :-D

If you are going to make another one, you need a male: a Starfire V.

...and I hope Steve loves the F47R as much as I did...funny, just different (better) when someone sits across from you playing her...

I do not know which is which as-far-as the "full frontal" positioning, the one on the right looks "more Guild" to me than the one on the left...also seems the p'ups are spaced slightly further apart on the right hand lady...and does one have one more fret than the other?

Now, with a person who has them in front of him and has "the ear," what is the difference between the SD-1's and the Fender p'ups? I have contrasted mine (with SD-1's) to a Gretsch and a Gibson ES-335, and like the Guild better...my feel it is "fuller," though that may not be the best in all circumstances.
