Ran across one of these on one of the sites. I've never owned, seen or played one of these. I know zero about it.

I suspect one of you has and if you'd be willing to share your thoughts, comments and knowledge I would much appreciate it.

You may be talking about a Guild Paloma?

Sincerely,

Well, that helps. The fella had it advertised as a Guild Palomino. I knew nothing about a Paloma either but was at least able to find some info on line. Thanks Hans!!!!!

I think Sting played one of these guitar on a song he had on video years ago.
I to would like one of these nylon string "electrics".

Cool! Didn't know about those either.

The Paloma looks similar in spirit to the Gibson Chet Atkins

The Peregrine was the steel string version and the Paloma was the nylon version. They are both Awesome guitars and from what I have heard sound great. I would love to have a Paloma someday but since I am not performing with my arm and don't know if I will again the Paloma Aspirations are on Hold.

Just a side note, I believe New Hartford made a very few electric nylon Doyle Dykes signature models as well that are built along the same principles as the Paloma and Peregrine. Very hard to find and I have only really seen one or two. Here are some pics to compare with the Paloma.

Cool, TX! I didn't know about those!
The official name of the one TX posted was "DD-6NC Doyle Dykes Signature Nylon Cutaway Electric".

The specs are still at the Guild webpage (marked discontinued) but I think except the prototype for Doyle from NAMM 2014 there was never a second one made in NH due to the closure of the shop.

I played Doyle's at NAMM...interesting guitar...fingerboard too wide for my hands, don't ask me the measurements...liked the extra frets, tho.

The only thing stopping me from a new guitar quest, now, is my Yamamha SLG 200N. Forum knowledge is not for the thin of wallet.
