    F-412 on Norman's

Catching up on some of the Norman's YouTube videos, from a few weeks ago is a '75 F-412N.

Man, it's the Zep piece for me! Brian Ray actually taught me that piece back in the 70s when I was in a group with him. Wanted to put me "out front" with it. I balked, lol. I'm a keyboardist! The group didn't last long; he went on to play for Etta for years, then Sir Paul. Not a bad career!

I've actually been practicing that piece on the F50R. It's quite another beast on the 12. Man, that guy can sure play it. He showed me a few parts I've been missing. Thanks for the vid, Acorn!

I did appreciate Mark's comparison of Guild's jumbos to Gibson's J200, which are pretty stratospheric in the price category.

That's Pete Townshend's pair of choice when he goes acoustic: an F-412 and J-200 (although he does use an F-512 as well.)

Slightly OT, a more recent Norman's piece (not GOTD) on YouTube features Tim Pierce, a session/studio guy, playing an M80!

Edit: oops, already covered here: http://letstalkguild.com/ltg/showthr...835-Guild-M-80
