Joe Bonamassa’s Guild flat-top

J. B. Played at IP Casino yesterday - Studio A.

I was in the casino. I didn’t see his show. But the advertising screens around the casino showed him playing a black Guild acoustic w/ a G-shield. It had the boat-paddle headstock. But I could not find a pic on the web.

Maybe a custom black jumbo? Anyone see it or know?

Dunno. Maybe I was hallucinating. But I looked at it several times.
Black Guild 6 string w/boat paddle head-stock. That's' what was on the screen.
It wasn't a 12-string and what I saw of the body did not look sunburst. It looked black.

If it was a dread it could be a GSR D40 Noir from New Hartford. They were all black with abalone shell binding on the top of the body. Had an Engelmann spruce top if I recall correctly.

Yup. That's what it looked like. The pic cut off much of the body. I couldn't be sure it was a dread.
But the colors and head stock are correct.

Dunno why that pic was selected by the casino. But it's the only one that flashed on the screen.
