We spread joy to lots of people this week:
Monday afternoon - nursing home.
Tuesday evening - Hospice facility. Some of our other volunteers played at 2 other nursing homes too.
This morning - another nursing home.
This afternoon - yet another nursing home.
This evening - Grand Rapids Veterans Home.
Man, I'm tuckered out! Thank goodness my back is so much better; a month ago there is no way I could have done this. Just toting my gear around and putting it in and out of the truck is major progress for me. I have a nice cart that I put everything on, including my Guild barstool that I use for every gig.
This non-profit organization is becoming like a full time job, between scheduling, organizing, and leading music sessions. But we are taking the rest of the year off. And the new 2018 schedule is published, we start on Jan 2.
