What's up with "The Guitar Mechanic"?

Been trying to get a hold of him but no go...
I'm amazed at all the Guild Parts on this web link:

He can be kind of quirky to deal with and in my experience won't budge *at all* on prices. I tried getting an SD1 pickup from him forever but he wouldn't budge from $200. I finally found one for half that. Sadly I've seen Gibson Dependable sell them repeatedly over the last few months. The last set sold for $114 each.

IIRC he used to work at Guild which is why he's got so many hard to find parts. When he's got what you need and the price is right, he's rock solid to deal with.

That said, my #1 is always Hans. He may be far away, but he'll always treat you right. He's managed to score some very rare parts for me over the years. Even if he doesn't have them he knows people. It's very rare that he can't help you out.
