Being a fan of Neil Young since I was a kid (thanks to mom and dad), I was pretty stoked to hear about this. It's an interactive library of all of Neil's recordings and a ton of biographical/timeline info to go along with it. I remember an interview with him a few years back about the potential of digital music playback quality and I think that was the first bit I heard related to these archives. This morning I came across an article about supposed unheard releases, which is how I ended up on the archive for the first time http://www.dw.com/en/rocker-neil-young-to-make-unheard-albums-available-free-online/a-43003742
Currently it's free to make an account, though the homepage hints at a potential future paid subscription... either way, I say this is a really neat idea.
I did a search to look for any previous coverage of this stuff on LTG and came up empty-handed, so I guess here's to starting the discussion :)

P.S. (unfortunately) I am not affiliated with Neil Young
