A small digression ......

While looking on the Tube for "Hills Stomp" above, I found this little gem from a much under-appreciated guitarist from my time, Alvin Lee.

Didn't take much notice of A.L. after Ten Years After; I did know that he died too early.

Here he is with, among others, George Harrison on slide guitar. I would NEVER have picked George if asked "who is that slide player ?"

Great song! Alvin Lee was a great guitarist. I have this on a bootleg CD of songs where George plays as a "sideman". Everyone from Cheech and Chong to Belinda Carlisle to Bill Wyman.
