The strap buttons location, (in my opinion) is the most comfortable.

What a beauty! Of course, I'm a sucker for a nice 'burst.

Give the strap button a year for you to decide if you can live with it.

I have a guitar that has the strap button on the heel of the neck.
I don't like it there, so I installed another button in the traditional position.
Now there are 2 buttons on the guitar and it does look funny.
I wish that I would have just left it alone and got used to it.

Great guitar, my D50 is my favorite, go-to guitar. Great strummer, flat picker, plays loud and plays soft. I bought it new Wish I was able to get one in a burst, it is beautiful.

Yes the strap button is in an odd location, but it works very well, I like it.

Enjoy !

I just bought an '87 D50 NT through Reverb a few weeks ago. It's a beauty in tone and looks. Probably the best balanced tone throughout all the strings of all my geetars!
