Didn't read all the posts, but Johnny Cash had some nice Guilds. Jerre Haskew had a story about presenting a few to him.

The Highwaymen in Concert (the Nassau Coliseum 1990 Concert) has been in the rotation on my local PBS station, WHYY. Mr Cash is playing this guitar. The guitar is now in the Johnny Cash Museum in Nashville.

Great clip! Does anyone know what brand of soundhole pickup is that on Green's guitar?

I haven't seen this one posted here on LTG before; Carly Simon "Anticipation" live on a Guild 12 string from '71

OK, I am NOT going to comment on having two woody's. No, I'm not. No.

This popped up in my google news feed. Actually, I've never heard of her, but about half way down the article she says:

“For this last record, I’ve been playing this Guild T-Bird guitar. It’s beautiful. It’s white, it has two humbuckers and it’s the only guitar I’ve ever named. I named it ‘The Cloud’. It has a tone that’s similar to my SG.

Ironically, there are no images of her playing "Cloud". But the title and the pullout quote actually come from her comments on the Guild.

Anyway. FWIW. Article is here:

This, too:
" I have a classical Cordoba that is also pretty standard that I play a lot."

Google image search of her name yields this:

Pretty sure it's an NS, just for the record.

For me, this is the ultimate in many ways: a Sunburts Guild 12 string (a dream guitar for me), being played by David Gilmour (my favourite guitarist) playing ports of "Wish You Were Here" (the greatest rock song of all time, according to me), and Gilmour himself loivng the sound of the guitar. See it here:

Love the part in the beginning:

Interviewer: "why would you use a 12 string?"
Glimour: "Just listen to that. Why wouldn't you?"
