Hello

In sixties many guitars - like Italian Eko and German Framus - had bolt-on neck - but they had also the plate under screws - like in Strat.

Then there were some guitars that had key-adjustable neck angle. Neck was pivoting just under fretboard and there was a square-headed screw on lower heel. One could adjust string height with a key. Also handy for travelling - take the neck off completely. Not as elegant solution as this - http://www.voyageairguitar.com/

Must be one of them there "asymmetrical" screw patterns.

Just for good measure, the pick guard is screwed down too.

It does not say whether or not it used to belong to Bruce Wayne

This is the 3-bolt Kay neck joint. It shows up on some Valco (National, Supro, Airline) guitars in the brief time between when Valco & Kay merged and when the merged company went out of business. Kluson made the tuners with the huge butterfly buttons exclusively for Valco.
