Great guitars. What is the guitar in the last pic? I had no idea you had these guitars. Perhaps they are more abundant in your area, or maybe I should say they are now..

Great guitars. What is the guitar in the last pic? Do you have a pic of the 1973 F512? I had no idea you had these guitars. Perhaps they are more abundant in your area, or maybe I should say they are now..

It's the 45th Anniversary (patterned on the on the 1966 F-30). My F-512 is featured in my other post "Kings of the Twelves."

WOW....love that 45th Anniversary. I missed the boat on that one. Hopefully Guild has something special lined up for the next anniversary guitar, if they are still around....:wink-new:

Also, once things settle down in Oxnard, I hope to see some US built limited editions with more bling like the JF-100 and the 45th Anniversary.

Having the pictures taken with a nice garden in background gives double pleasure. Thank you Sir.

I have to thank Richard Peterson and George Minton for the opportunity to own five of them. The F-412 SB I just acquired locally from a dealer. Though it was described as Excellent and used, there is no evidence that it ever was played.

I just love those never been played condition of guitars. I own a Guild D55 in that condition and a Ric 360/12, and just couldn't believe the states of preservation on both of them. It sure makes it all interesting.

Hello Rich,

I realize that statement comes from an official piece of Guild literature, but I have no idea how that ever got in there.
If you take a good look at both the 45th Anniversary and an F-30 from the second half of the '60s, you should see that, apart from the facts that they are both Guilds and that they have 6 strings, there's very little these instruments have in common.

Sincerely,

Hans Moust

nice stash Rich, real nice.

1997 is the 45th Anniversary of 1952 (the Guild company itself), not a 1966 F-30 (which would only be a 31st anniversary in 1997), either way, beautiful collection!
