Car project

After the Mustang got back to my house, we started on a project with my wife. Yesterday, the chassis with rebuild steering and suspension and brakes and new tires and wheels got off the rotisserie and the body went on it. It's going to a body shop for sanding and priming.

What is that? Doesn't look like a Mustang...
am I seeing some Italian or British lines? Triumph Spitfire?

1970 Triumph GT6 MKII I'd say.

69 Triumph GT6, which would be a Mark II. I'm not yet a big enough Triumph expert to know when the Mark I -> Mark II -> Mark III changed.
