Stolen JF65-12

We used to hang horse thieves, didn't we? I'm just sayin.......

I thought this was worth reposting over here so we could help keep our eyes open for it.

From the folks at maple Streeet Guitars;
"Dear Maple Street Guitar Customers,
Today, Saturday, August 18th, a person came into our store and stole a Guild JF65-12 12-String Guitar, serial #JF650430 He was a tall, older man dressed in black with a black baseball cap. If you see this guitar in a store or anywhere, we would greatly appreciate the information. Thank you all for your support of our store and we wish you all well. "

These are great people who have been selling high end instruments, doing excellent repair work and giving lessons for many years. They are truly wonderful to deal with.

There's more info and a video on their facebook page, link here.... https://www.facebook.com/maplestreetguitars/videos/427078354482182/

The video isn't the greatest but it's better than nothing. It's a 1987 build.

I hope they catch this guy. I HATES'es Guitar thieves....... :mad:

Guild Guitar JF65-12 BLD 1987 JF-65 12-String Jumbo with Flamed Maple Back and Sides and Sitka Spruce Top - Serial#: JF650430

OK, so we know what the serial number is and that's probably the easiest way to identify the instrument, but just for the record, this particular JF65-12 Bld. was completed during the year 1991.

Sincerely,

Hans Moust

In the Navy, a thief was considered lower than whale $hit. (Especially the one who stole my Epiphone 12-string out of the barracks in 1973.)
