1997 Guild F50A Guitar on ebay

It is actually a GF50. Probably inaccurate to call it a scaled down F50 (or F50R, since it is rosewood).

I am also assuming it has a smaller lower bout than the F50 (16” vs. 17”), since my GF55 is that size. So I guess it is a scaled down GF55, which has D55/F50R appointments.

Also, according to the serial number chart, it is a 1987 model, not 1997.

It's indeed a GF50 from 1987. Can't really blame the seller though. It probably has the F050 A11 model designation on the label, which was the in-house model number for the model during this particular period.

Wow thank you. Isn't that the way, having to catch all the errors with so many things in Guild Land? Beside that this does appear to be a semi-cool guitar, and perhaps in great, original condition too.
