Ever done a "progressive dinner?" Where you eat each course at someone else's house?

How about we do a progressive song?

I'll start it, a basic 12 bar Blues song in "A". You post my lyric and your addition to it, and so on until we have a song

Here goes:

"When I woke up this mornin' my head felt twice it's size..."

I'll bite...

I whistled for a taxi, said you'd better take me home...

"When I woke up this mornin' my head felt twice it's size...

"'cause I went out to the bar last night and won the drinkin' prize...."

My head was dancing as I walked out the door

But my shoes would not cope - so I fell on the floor

I whistled for a taxi, said you'd better take me home...

The driver said to me : You look just like a gnome

No one calls a taxi these days. It's Uber or Lyft. Which age group y'all tryna appeal to???

I'll play but no one has put chords or rhythm to it yet. but we can get there.... I have faith in us.

Sorry Tom, going with Stu's line, it rhymes and stays with the 12-bar Blues format.

OK, now we have 2 verses:

"When I woke up this mornin' my head felt twice it's size...

"'cause I went out to the bar last night and won the drinkin' prize...."

My head was dancing as I walked out the door

But my shoes would not cope - so I fell on the floor

I whistled for a taxi, said you'd better take me home...

The driver said to me : You look just like a gnome

He said you better hop in before you fall down

But I need a street number before we're homeward bound.
