We’re there any incarnation of Guild 12 strings that were short scale?

The FS4612CE is a stage only guitar, I'd say. The 12 string version of the Songbird ?

Checking past listings, yes, the F45ce-12 is short scale. On the radar.

No, different animal completely.
Songbird was based on body outline of the Nightbird electric at 13-3/8" lower bout width, where FS46 is F40-based outline: 16" width and solid , IIRC..that's not actually a real soundhole on those guitars.
And "IIRC" the F45ce12 and FS4612ce are the only shortscale 12-ers they ever made.
(For regular production, anyway.)

No, it's not a 'sound' hole...made to be amplified...think of it as an electric...while it's a solid body it's likely chambered somewhat under the top.
The Songbird, at least the early versions, has a solid routed out Mahogany body and spruce top and a real sound hole...while also made to be amplified can be played acoustically as well...not loud...think of it as a hybrid.
