For some reason, that guy annoys the pee out of me.

Watching him is almost as grating on the nerves as watching Martin's Diane Ponzo. :hopelessness:

Plus he doesn't play nearly well enough to be showing what these high end guitars are capable of.

When he reviewed an old F412, he played a lot better. I think that was a poor choice for fingerpicking.

As all have mentioned, his comments were right on. "J-200 killer." Ha!

That wasn’t his best fingerpick; he can do a lot better, and has. I think it was a new piece for him.

To the annoyed, remember, his job is to sell these guitars, and he’s built up a huge audience, and that gets these guitars sold. Job done.

Although he can also be annoying, I like Phil X better...

But no amount of annoyance can change the sound of that guitar - beautiful!

My '82 is the heaviest guitar I have ever held in my hands. A tank, for sure.

It is also the best pure strummer I have ever owned.
