I just bought a f30 from a little music shop in my town and I’m not sure what year it’s from. I think it’s from ‘67 but I’m not 100% positive. The serial number is; AI- 1736. It looks old enough, but I wanted to ask someone with a little more knowledge

Thanks

By my reading of the charts, I would guess you are correct. ASSUMING, the number/letter on the charts IS a letter I, and not another numeral 1.

And welcome to a great guitar forum-mostly Guilds - but other brands, as well.

It could be a 1, there is a dash between the “AI” and the “1736.” I wish I could post a picture of it but I don’t see an option for that

Welcome.
Photos need to be hosted elsewhere and then linked here. (Imgur is s current popular choice, as Photobucket started charging hefty fees for their service last year)
How-to thread here:

We love pics round here.
Guild's s/n chart here:

We know there are errors, missing numbers, and ambiguities in those lists, but scroll down to the section "1965-1969" to see the listings for F-30.
Your s/n fits the format, and fits right into the "AI1143 to AI1855" range shown for 1967.
We wish they were all that easy.
