To be precise - I was told by Muovinen who was assuming the included tuners are original...
Correct, the S-60 came with the 3 on-a-plate tuners. So all o.k.
The pickups are DiMarzio SDS-1.
Congratulations on that S-60-D !

Hello

There were two extra pu covers in case - one white - one black. I can convert it back to two white pickups. I have to open it up to see if the pups are original. Any hints+ Are they marked somehow? Coil resistance etc? Once I dissect it, I'll post pics.

And once the hardware is removed - I could try clean and buff the laquer - any recommendations ?

Serial # is 205107

GAD get's price for being closet - I'll drop 20€ off the Nagra in the other post :very_drunk:

I'm fuzzy on echange rates. Is 20 Euro something like 3000 USD?

These are SDS-1 Pickups from my X79-3

Howdy

I put it on the table and removed the guts - dissection time!

One of the 16 little screws holding pickguard is not original - others have flat base, this one is convex - so it goes in the middle.

No cleaning done as of yet

Fretboard in great shapes - minimal wear on frets

Finally changed the cream cover for the neck pup, quick first-aid cleaning, reassembly. A little tweak on truss rod - done for now.

Btw - I believe the TRC is not original - it is quite thin w flimsy feel. Made of four layers - black-white-black-white. Edges are rough and the shape is not right at places.

Enjoy

Actually I believe it is original but some Gibson troll in the past mounted it upside down and since the top round portion didn't fit against the nut he cut the round top! So now you have it correctly mounted but the round top is gone.

Look at this one, it is also rough at the edges and the upper right corner:

Hello

Thanks for bringing that point of view - perhaps it is reshaping time - round the top and shave the "shoulders" little lower and smooth the edges.
