Spotted this M-140 in a small shop in Jerusalem. If you zoom in you can see the price, 2,800 shekels. That's about $780US.

And another picture of some of the other instruments in this little shop

What year was the Guild, any idea? Prices on those Ouds, if that's what they are?

What is that on the left, looks like a sitar, but?

The Guild looked fairly new, but I'm sure it was/is used. The Madeira was clearly vintage but looked to be in great shape. If you can make out the price in Shekels the exchange rate is about 3.5-3.6 to the dollar.

I'd love an Oud...

Dang, there's not a lot of fingerboard on on of those.

No sweat, just upgrade to a theorbo:

Only one video per post, so have to post the link for that one, but trust me, if you like Zorba you'll LOVE the "Harry Lime Theme" also known as "the Third Man"

"All things 'tar'"

Loollll ;-))))

Holy sh*t, I can see myself trying not to bonk that one around...

Can you imagine the slide bass possibilities, you can use a slide around the size of a wine bottle ;-)

Holy cr@p again, it's like listening to Dick Dale Travis pick?

I swear somebody could it stick in the Best of Dick Dale CD I just listened to and it wouldn't even be out of place.
