Hello,
Since I cannot shield the bass control cavity (as their Ain't one and it is just an open space in a Starfire) I thought I would use shielded cable in wiring up my new harness to help keep the noise down. My stock harness was noisy and harness unshielded wiring.

I want to use this: Shielded_Circuit_Wire_-_25_feet.html

I know I have to strip and peel back and twist shield wire ends away from the copper conductor end. But how do I attach them to ground?
I guess copper conductor to one lug of the jack, twisted shield ends to other lug?
Also, how to use it on pots? Just solder the twisted shield wires to pot backs after making the conductor copper connections?
And what about to pot lugs?

I know how to use the non-shielded push back cloth wiring. But never used shielded single conductor.
Sure would be nice to use it here. But seems like there would be a lot of shield ends to have to be soldered somewhere.
I looked for online tutorials but everything seems like it is non-shielded except for the braided Gibson hum bucker wiring.
