Yeah, where'd he get that voice? In the same class as Chris Stapleton and Dan Tyminski.

i got to say i dont like the pickup he has in that martin. so thin sounding on my laptop. maybe it is the laptop speakers.

He sounded great live! My laptop speakers also leave something to be desired. My wife got me a mini-Bose Bluetooth, big sound!

I was ready to type "D'Addario" in a reply box, and was startled to realize that this was NOT a string thread.

His voice pleasantly surprised me. My guess is that his guitar's tone is intended to help him overcome the sonic competition from the banjo . . .
