** SOLD **

Well.... I just put up on reverb my Westerly-built 1991 Guild Limited Edition JF30-12 in woodgrain blue finish.

Reduced price $1499 + shipping.

This blue beauty was kind of an impulse buy after kicking myself about missing out on that burst Doyle Dykes 12-string that had been up on reverb for a year but then suddenly got snatched up just as I was getting ready to pull the trigger.

ANYWAY, this is another super JF30-12, but I just don't need two of them, and my 2002 Corona-built is still my favorite and not going anywhere.

Pics and details are up on reverb.

Of course you do. Two words. Alternate tunings.

I know, I know, but I only drop D, and I do have a total of four 12-strings even after letting go of the blue jumbo.... :nevreness:

So you "need" 4, but not 5?

Got it.

I fell down that slippery slope a long time ago.

Yeah, it's really pretty, limited edition... my Corona-built JF30-12 is still my holy grail 12er.

By the way, this guitar was previously sold at the same estate auction where I acquired my DV-73. The owner also owned a DV72 MK (Malachite).

To a degree, but she doesn't get me like you guys do.

Yes, but.....my wife gets stressed out over four or five guitars. I wanted to reduce to four, but she said, and I quote, "Just be satisfied with what you have." :cower: Fortunately, she doesn't count the amp! Does any LTGer have a solution? Why is it males who have this guitar obsession anyway? Is it something to do with our P*****s?

You may want to ask if she has more then four pairs of shoes.

Or maybe you shouldn't...hehehehehe

Imelda Marcos would be embarrassed at the number of shoes my wife has! The problem with this point is that shoes cost a lot less than guitars!

Now, I don't actually recommend this solution because wives can be a really good thing. But, I will say, it's pretty easy to buy what I want (provided I have the cash) when there's no wife in the picture. Just sayin'.

My wife at least has a sense of humor about my “hobby.”

She once suggested that I should dress up my guitars in pretty outfits.

My response to her was that alternatively, she could dress up like a guitar.

Thankfully neither has occurred (yet).

I was scratching my head over this until I realized "P*****s" has the same number of letters as "P*****s", except "P*****s" has one less syllable..
Guess it's another one of those male obsessions.

Oh, she told you that, did she?

You are lucky she didn't slap you right upside the head boy.
If she was dressed up like a guitar that could be kinda kinky.

That is how I tell if one of my guitars has Brazilian Rosewood or not. I put a string bikini on them and you can immediately tell which one is Brazilian and which one is not.:biggrin-new:

All BS aside, Best of luck with your listing Cougar! That is one beautiful and rare Guild, Daddy likes the Blue.
