That's a 'why didn't I think of that?' moment.Yes, a handy little trick.
I stole it from Steve Earle about 20 years ago. I'm sure many others do it but he was the first I remember seeing. That's a 'why didn't I think of that?' moment.
Oooh, Shelby, that's a honey!! Did you do an NGD on this one. I'd love to see more pix!1999 Guild Finesse I got from Richard P. It is its turn in the rotation--2nd time around - just a marvelous guitar to play. More pictures post #317.
That looks very much the same as mine, Walt. My house was built in 1961 though.Beautiful F-512 Chazmo! I wish my arms were a bit longer every time I see one.
Hey, the right hand side of your photo............I have one of those built ins although hinged opposite.. My house was built in 1939 with lumber from a local mill..............full dimensional lumber and 1" thick plaster board baby
I might be wrong , mostly am but I’ve wondered if different point of views so to say come into effect on widths/ depths . You would think not in most cases at least I do but measurements seems to vary in my mind from IM to EM ( Internal to external ) measurements . It might not acount for every 1/16th but even lower bouts ( only thing I’ve measured) lol seem to vary about an 1/8 th to 3/16’s of an inch maybe a tad more and sometimes less . Anywho just thinking out loud . lolMy trusty F-512 is back out as I did some measurements earlier. FYI, body depth is slightly more than 4-1/2"
