Jesus... That seriously makes me cringe.
Bye bye, buddy. Nice knowing you.
How many ladders does it take to get someone killed? The correct answer is “four”.
I think the correct answer is one.How many ladders does it take to get someone killed? The correct answer is “four”.
In the unlikely event that my Honda lawnmower ever dies, I want one of those.
Anything more than 1/4-acre is pointless with a push mower like that. Been down the same road, GAD. You'd have to be superman to mow a 2 acre lawn...When we bought out first house I decided I wanted to be “green” so I bought a nice modern spinning blade push mower - like the one in the pic but without a motor.
It was awful. I mean it was really well made and sharp and fascinating from an engineering standpoint, but holy crap was it hard to use! People in the 40s must have been in way better shape but I was in great shape then. I also think it was better for putting greens or for people who mow their lawns every three days. And for people with less than two acres to mow.
We used to do our 3 acres in Heron, Montana with a battery-powered Ryobi. In no hurry, we'd take a couple days, but it was basically a long walk around the grounds. It's for rent now. Any takers? You mow, lol. Now, with a battery electric assist it might be a feasible product to reintroduce.
God DAMN, Cougs... That is some bootiful property you have there. We used to do our 3 acres in Heron, Montana with a battery-powered Ryobi. In no hurry, we'd take a couple days, but it was basically a long walk around the grounds. It's for rent now. Any takers? You mow, lol.
Thanks, Chaz. Yeah, that's our little house. We were looking for a place to rent while our "main" house was being thoroughly remodeled. Since this place was dirt cheap at the time, we just bought it and lived there for a year, which is how long the remodel took. It was actually a fun time, very secluded in Heron, Montana....God DAMN, Cougs... That is some bootiful property you have there.
Is that your neighbors bungalow or yours?
I’ll take it.Thanks, Chaz. Yeah, that's our little house. We were looking for a place to rent while our "main" house was being thoroughly remodeled. For sure, something we used a lot. It's actually more accessible than our "main" house in north Idaho, which is off a dirt/gravel forest service road (but the house is much nicer, and it's on 15 acres of forest, only a small portion of which needs to be mowed). We even had pretty decent internet in Heron (Blackfoot). Can you still get Amazon deliveries?
Man, I'd be so nervous that the river would flood it out. But that's just me. I'm a nervous Nellie.Yeah, that's our little house.
