Is that subject line a rhetorical question?

Great clip! I've seen Juber up close at a guitar store near me, he is one heck of a player. He was promoting his new CD (at the time) of Beatles covers, and doing a "clinic" for Martin with his signature guitar. I sat about 10 feet from him.

He told some great stories, especially about being in Paul McCartney's band at one time. A very enjoyable evening!

After seeing him, I was unsure whether to go home and practice, or just give up playing...

Thanks Jim!

I love SRV's version and Hendrix's, too. But this Acoustic one is beautiful! Sometimes, music fill my eyes with tears or give me chills. This time was one of those...

Thank you, Jim! :D

All the best,
B.

I didn't read this thread and have no idea what you're talking about, but my girlfriend's son gave me "Are You Experienced" on 180-gram vinyl for my birthday. Haven't cared much for listening to Hendrix at home, but this is GOOD.

If you, in some moment, want to get free of it, with no doubt, you can send it to me  :D I'll take care of it!

All the best,
B.

There is some of Hendrix's wild electric stuff I didn't care for much either, byt "Little Wing" may be my favorite of his. I've heard many renditions of "Little Wing" and a few acoustic versions, but Juber put so much feeling into this that I thought it was pretty incredible.

I'm glad you guys enjoyed it.

There's a lot of cool creativity in this version. I think SRV did my favorite, though.

Thanks for the link, Jim.

Nope. I believe I'll keep it. And the Santana and Paul's Boutique I got too.

What ya think about this or this, or this another one, Dave? Probably not the one that I would pick if you make me choose, because: 1) I think I've listened better ones in some live recordings and 2) because is a tough decision; And these are in Youtube...

Thanks again, Jim! :D

Wish I had the time to go through those different versions and provide a critique! My favorite was the studio version. But I should have added that when it comes to video, I prefer to watch The Corrs' version. 8)
