Gibson Custom Shop Dove (ebay)

Hey All, I was looking at this Dove on ebay. Does anyone have any price info on these? I was wondering what the book value is. Thanks for your time and consideration.

One of them sold for $3200 in 2007. With only 20 made, there aren't a lot of comparables.

It doesn't seem to match up to anything in the vintage guide, so "book value" may be hard to find.

Sure looks nice.

Sweetwater has a 50th Anniversary Dove Limited listed for $3999 new. Comparing to Guild GSR models that listed for the same price, then sold new for about $3500, a fair used price would perhaps be $3000-$3200. My GSR T-500 is listed at $2999, and I would not consider going lower, for what that is worth. Here is the link...

Gibson and limited edition though do not usually translate into any kind of collector's or increased re-sale value. I am guessing because they release so many flippin' limited edition guitars.
