I have disabled Profile Posts.
Why? Because it's a dumb feature to begin with that's confusing and more often than not got mistaken for private messages. That's a problem because they have always been publicly available for anyone to read.
I doubt anyone will miss them, but if you do feel free to complain about it to me here or via PM.
