Joe Pug and Loads and Loads of Guilds

Saw Joe Pug play last night. He played his trusty D-25 of course, but is using a gorgeous, new Sunburst D-40 Bluegrass Jubilee. The other guitarist used a D-25 on a few songs (he mostly plays electric--a Jazzmaster). And the bassist switched from an acoustic bass to a Guild Starfire. What an awesome concert. Got to talk to him for a few minutes. He's a very honest guy with a disarmingly genuine smile. Great guy all in all, amazing songwriter.

You know, I never visit this section. I should more often. Yes Joe is collecting a massive amount of Guilds. He also has/or has had a JF40 and an old M20. But, with his 3 different D25s, I think I know his favorite model.

Yeah it sure is. It's the Bluegrass model though with the adirondack top. You could probably already tell that though
