No, that's the Schaller made one; the Mueller bridge is slightly heavier!

Damn, now I've got to go look at mine! They do look mighty close to each other.

Thanks Hans,

Is that possibly why I had to shim the neck as the Schaller sits higher than the Mueller? It does have a baseplate underneath the bridge itself.

Either way it’s a nice piece of hardware that works well and looks great.

Did you spot it right away, Grot? My eye for basses is not yet that honed. :)

Well I do have a bit of an advantage.

But also, the first clue is the Guild logos are different. The Schaller has left hand and right hand adjusters, On the Meuller, the adjuster screws are all the same on the left.

So I was practicing with my "gigging" bass that lives with me and I noticed this!

It has an "un-branded" Schaller bridge!

I also see it's not in my Pilot line up so here it is: (In rarely seen natural poplar!)

Love the natural color. Looks like mid eighties as well?

Does the bridge have a separate baseplate underneath. Just curious as mine does. I had to shim the neck to get a nice break angle and pull the saddles off the bottom.
