Just picked up this Warslinger a couple of days ago for a whopping $175!

I love crackle finish. Looks great! I'd rock that for $175! How's it play and sound?

A buddy of mine has an original BC Rich Mockingbird from the '80s. I've always dug their designs.

Plays and sounds great! I've got a few other BCRs...a Warlock Deluxe, NJ Neck Thru Mockingbird, and an older (late 80s/early 90s) NJ Warlock (no pic, but it was rattle canned sparkle blue, and has no pickups).120465293_10158444546376327_3784339868360604465_o.jpg96210996_10158019838406327_3660257329644830720_o.jpg

I love pretty much all of the BC Rich designs.

If my memory serves me right - the early BC Rich guitars had more knobs and switces than anybody else on planet earth.

It depends on the model and how it was built. The one you're thinking of is probably something like these:

They weren't all like that, though. There were plenty of them with very normal controls, but the knobby ones are what caught the public's eye. We in the hair bands also thought they were cool as hell because it was a time where "see how technical I am?" was a big deal. :)

Yeah they're cool. Most of them played really well. Reminds me of the '80s "hair metal" era.

Their earlier models reminded me of Alembic style stuff, look-wise anyway. Then they seemed to go all out glam rock by the late 80's.

Major spoiler for Stranger Things but that season’s been out for a couple of years now.
