After a valiant effort to get used to my recently scored Epiphone Casino's neck, I caved in and traded it towards a 2020 PRS S2 Standard 22. Much better neck and nut width for me!

What a comfortable guitar to play with the contoured back - weighs in at 7 pounds even, pretty much my limit. I never played a guitar with a contoured back before. Solid mahogany body, but very resonant unplugged. Do you think the tremelo bridge makes that more likely? It reminds me if the acoustic sound of the two Guild Bluesbirds I've had, but of course, those were chambered.

This one has a few nicks and bumps, but that made the price right. No marks at all on the headstock or neck, frets look new. Really rocks plugged in, and I can get some smooth sounds from the neck pup. And yes, a fingerprint magnet, but black (followed closely by cherry sunburst) has always been my favorite color for a guitar.

I am generally quite anti-PRS for a variety of reasons, but I gotta say that's a good looking guitar!

I'm a fan of the PRS models with dots/moons. Wish there were more of them.

Very nice, congrats! The black finish brings out all the bevels and contours. And fingerprints. ;)

Agreed! I had a Core McCarty Hollwbody with the birds. Very nice guitar except for the occassional feedback, super lightweight, but never fell in love with the birds.

Oh golly that's beautiful.... I love black!! (fingerprints be damned!!) What's the nut width?

Thanks! The neck is what they call a "Pattern Regular". The nut width is 1 21/32''. PRS does everything different! That's 1 10.5/16" - why not just go to the regular 1 11/16"?! The main thing is it feels good to me!

BTW, I like the look of it a lot, but "beautiful" only works if you don't look too closely. I forgot to mention that the previous owner actually painted over two marks with a black paint that doesn't really match perfectly. One on the tip of the lower horn, and one on the lower bout. Luckily I saw them, they look worse in the photos below than in person. I got it at a Music Go Round store - and got the price lowered. I don't mind them, I'm assuming there will be more dings and marks coming, and I did like the discount.

My guess would be that it's actually 42mm.

I am generally quite anti-PRS for a variety of reasons,
I primarily avoid PRS guitars due to the price of the guitars.

However, I did find this Korean "SE Soapbar II Maple" a few years back for a super low price with a Buy-It-Now button.

These came with cream colored P-90 covers, so a past owner had changed everything to black, except the switch tip which I later changed to black. Personally I think they do look better with black accessories.

How they looked from the factory:

I also ended up changing the bridge to a TonePros with adjustable saddles for better intonation settings.
