Pork loin, rubbed with ground cinnamon and Lowry's Cowboy Rub, slow roasted on my Weber for two hours, where's that lip-smackin' smilie? Coals on one side, pork loin on the other, top and bottom vents open about 1/2 way with the top vents located right over the pork loin so the heat and smoke travel past the meat on the way out, done to perfection! I love it when my local grocer has pork loins on sale for $1.29/lb!

Spot on dread! :D  :p

Nothing better than a Weber, a pork loin well seasoned, and a little indirect heating. Nice job. Try a little mesquite or hickory wood next time for a smoky taste. Hats off to the chef!

Dammit, dread ... I haven't had lunch yet, and now I'm hungry for grilled pork loin. Thanks a lot. :x

A lot longer than it would take to fly across it! Maybe you can come over in the winter, then you can walk across Lake Michigan!

Last time I was in Minneapolis, I had the best BBQ ribs ever, I forget the name of the place now, they served the sauce on the side...

I believe that would have been about 1997...I've been through the Northwest hub there a few times since though.

I just googled it - I believe it was Market BBQ...

Market BBQ is good indeed. As far as chains go, Famous Dave's is based here, so we have a lot of those, and Dickey's just started opening up places in the Twin Cities. But nothing beats the smaller, one-off places. Rudolph's is another good local joint.

Now if you had been in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, I would have immediately jumped in the car.

One of our suppliers from Switzerland mistakenly ended up in Grand Rapids, Minnesota years ago

Yeah, our two states are still arguing over who has more lakes!
