Hi! I just recently got a surfliner deluxe and im in love! the things i wanna change are mainly cosmetic. starting with a pickguard. while the pearl white looks really great im kind of leaning to a gold maybe? and eventually gold hardware. im not sure exactly but i certainly want to see my options. does anyone know where i can get a new pickguard and hardware?

I have used pickguardian for oddball guards, you can send them the original and they will duplicate it in your choice of material.

I don't think Guild has any options for you. And, I think that pickguard shape is unique to the surfliner.

Unless you want to go to none Guild hardware and pickups, I suspect your going to be out of luck. On the other hand it would not be impossible for you to gold plate components yourself You could try something like this.

I had a local Luther get the gold hardware and I had him install a gold Bigsby
Also, I had the neck refinished in gloss.
Huge difference.

I'm in the process of having all of the hardware on my black Surfliner Deluxe changed to gold. Should be ready soon. I did paint the headstock and back of the neck gloss black. All I have to do now is find a way to replace the logo on the headstock.
