My brother is a sucker for girl groups. He just introduced me to The Warning, a power trio of three sisters from Monteray, Mexico.

If you like things in the Halestorm, Metalica, metalish rock genre, you might like them. They seem quite polished and professional and can be quite fierce in performance.

For Perspective, 9 Years Ago -- apparently a performance intended primarily for their grandparents to watch.

Live in Mexico in 2022: about 1 hr and 50 min

The style isn’t my cup of tea, but wow, they are pretty darn good.

I saw them live from the second row opening for Halestorm and The Pretty Reckless and they were AWESOME. I went home and bought all their CDs. Their energy was palpable and they damn near out-rocked the headliners. Can't wait to see them headline and I'm so glad that they're getting the attention they deserve.

My brother speaks a fluent [fluently speaks a] dialect of Spanish particular to a South American country where he lived for many years, and he keeps up with Latin American news.

This is how he learned about The Warning.

In Latin America, they are the headliners. Their concerts sell out almost immediately.

They were educated in Spanish, English and French. For a while, their song writing was limited to English and French lyrics. In response to some critical flack about abandoning their mother tongue, they have started writing in Spanish, too.

To my ear, it sounds as if whoever taught them English was a New Yorker, but hey ... I could be wrong.

I've read about and watched a few vids before. They're really popular in the U.S. too, and they've been playing around since they were teens. They cut their teeth at metal festivals. I think their career is mapped out for them already. So awesome!

I am definitely a sucker for girl groups as well. The Warning saw some of my vids and photos of other girl groups, and they started following me on Instagram, and requested I follow them. I had never heard of them but had no problem following their page. Turned out they are definitely a major league band. When I was growing up I was really into metal. later in life I've gotten a little bit back into it. is nice to mix it up from time to time. The Warning is excellent
