Congrats! I love cedar-topped Lowdens -- I have an F23 (cedar / walnut) and a W23 (cedar / ?) .
I do too, and now I want another! I'd love to have a Richard Thompson Signature (cedar ziricote) which is based on the F body, but those are like $8K. Usually anything with a "23" in the name is walnut sides and back. I'd be open to an F23 as well.

I've looked greedily at that Thompson model too!

I was lucky in that used Lowdens weren't all that expensive when I purchased mine. (Today? Fuhfgeddaboutit!)

I have a rosewood / sitka F35 model that's no slouch in the "sound" department. The only Lowdens I've played that disappointed me were the "S" series and the Wee Lowden models. George excells at the large body models it seems -- the smaller ones, not so great.

The pickguard on that CS SJ IS ugly, but I love those everly and everly J200 pickguards, moustache bridges, and plenty of other Gibson and 1940's and 1950's C&W bling! Bring it on!!
