How about a little Mick Taylor playing a Guild with some pickup bassist playing a humongous acoustic bass. (I think he was in a trio for a time. But they only lasted a couple of years.)

Good lord, that's a big instrument!

Oh, it is, buddy.
Did a little image searching after seeing he hooked up with Bruce after quitting the Stones.

How about some Brian Jones & Keith Richards in the Olympic Studios in London recording their fifth British studio album „Between the Buttons“ in November 1966.
Had never seen that picture of Keith with the Guild 12 string F-312 (?).

Love all the Garcia pix. The Kinky Friedman and Utah Phillips pictures were great shots of two more of my heroes. Another hero is Mississippi John Hurt, and the one below does him even more justice than the nice one already posted.

No one's mentioned Long John Baldry yet—probably because lots of people think he was just a singer. (At least his cats put up with his playing.)

And no one's posted one of me. Till now.

Istumbled on this while trying to make out if the bongo drums were Premier . . .

still no idea who made the bongos - if anybody knows - please chime in.

EDIT - found the original - quite silly - video of this song - definitively Premier bongos
