Just noticed the nice green Guild G shields on the sub forum headings.

Hopefully new......knowing my attention to detail they've probably been there for months!!

They've changed colour . . .

Yellow is the colour of my true love's hair . . .

Maybe this can be automated - new colour for each day - or . . .

BTW I think what bugs me about the new logo buttons is that they look like old Smith Brothers' cough drops.

I find the "move on, nothing to see here" gray to be an opportunity for improvement. The logo appears washed out and looks like a black dot from far enough away. But I will gladly live with things as they are.

Happy for any and all feedback since I made them on a whim.

I tend to agree. I'll see if I can come up with something better. It could be that just being less dark would help. Right now, though, I need coffee.

To the extent that foreground/background make sense I would first try replacing the background with white, But my sense of design sucks so...

They're supposed to look like indicator lights, and indicator lights aren't white when they're off. Hmm... Maybe they should be dark blue instead of grey...

I made them lighter grey. We'll see how they look when the cache clears.

Thanks for your efforts, GAD! I like the new, grey Guild badge "buttons". And the blue "buttons" remind me of my favorite Guild Dreadnaught guitar... the DV-72 w/ turquoise inlays. (Even though I don't own one.) It's funny... it isn't until the site is down for a couple of days, that I realize how often I check in to see what the LTG folks are up to. :encouragement:

They may be overworked and underplayed. Keep on hunting and pecking. :worked_till_5am:
