I stumbled on a webpage that appears to have a screenshot of the Guild website, back when Guild was in New Hartford.

https://www.chorder.com/news/gear/guild-at-namm-2013-331

The Guild logo and factory background look good to me and thought I might try to make something out of it. Does anyone have another picture of this, but from a direct angle?

Thanks!

Robert

That pic does ring a bell, don't know if it ever appeared in a catalog but I'd start looking at the New Hartford Catalogs from here:

Now that I think bout it, you may even want to look into Ovation lit because that's who was in the building when Fender made Guild their roommate.
That Custom Shop logo can probably be found with a google image search.

Found these - agreed, nice looking logo. Probably don't
even need to mention, but will anyway - doing something with this
for a one-off non-commercial personal project is cool - any other use isn't.

Thanks guys!

I understand about the legal rights, and my plan was to simply make coffee mug for myself. What's currently available through the Guild store are black mugs, and I would like to have something else.

You can easily find a picture of the old New Hartford plant... just look at the label in a (post-1980) USA-made Ovation.

That brown & tan version would make a sweet coffee mug!

There are pictures of the New Hartford facility when it was producing Guilds which we took with a bunch of us during our LetsMeetGuild event(s). I'm sure someone could dig those up.

The highly motivated can go to the Wayback Machine and view archives of www.guildguitars.com all the way back to April 15, 1998.

http://web.archive.org/web/*/www.guildguitars.com

Might be worth a new thread if people really start mining the Waybak Machine for interesting nuggets.

If you are looking for the building, remember that Ovations and Hamers were also made there so a search for pictures of the factory will turn up shots that are interesting.

I like this one.
