My 2005 Tacoma built D-55 came with a factory installed pickup.
It's a USP with a 9 volt battery located the body in a velcro case.

My question is what is the make and model of the pickup and is it adjustable for volume?
There are no adjustment knobs on the guitar.

I would like to tone down the pickup as it is very hot and loud.
I have to place the volume knob on the amp between 0 and 1 or it blasts me out of the room.
This is the case with several different amps.

Taylor, and maybe others, make a cable with a volume control mounted in a plug. I've used it with my F-50 that has no internal volume in the pickup and it works well. I just searched and it seems it's now selling for around $100 dollars. I don't think I paid anywhere that much, but that was 20 years ago or more. Another search returns other options, including this one at about half the price of the Taylor:https://www.amazon.com/RapcoHorizon...=2025&creative=165953&creativeASIN=B07F2WRSGZ
Probably similar, but the amp end plug looks a little less substantial than on the Taylor.

In your other thread you mentioned you thought it had a Matrix Natural...Fishman made/makes more than one version of the system...some have controls...yours might be upgradeable...you might try their support first:

This is a very handy portable little beast...have had one for years:

It will let you control the gain into it and out of it.

No I don't know why the links won't show as hot...just copy/paste into your browser.
