So - in your picture the green tool is still attached deep onto that nut?

Yes - now that I know what to look for it is clear - special tool required - well done ! 🐾

Right! Here's a pic of the nut without the tool in the way:

And here's a pic that shows just how deep the tool is:

Usually 1-2 in the morning, and always black, no sugar. One day a couple weeks ago, I drank four cups in a diner at breakfast. It was very good coffee, and I had no noticeable nervousness. I've known people who drink 12-13 cups a day.

My wife and I have the largest Bodum french press one can buy, which is 1.5 liters -- supposedly 12 cups rest of the world, or more like 8 big gulps American size. We got it as a wedding gift, and it makes the greatest brew. We split a full batch in the morning, and I usually need one more cup after lunch. Love my coffee!

And to contribute to the veer. . .

Right! Here's a pic of the nut without the tool in the way:

You should check out these Swedish Bahco pipe wrenches. They've saved my butt a bunch of times and the opening is huge.

They also grip incredibly well like Knipex pliers. BTW Would it have worked to simply put a couple of long bolts into a couple of the holes and then use the extension in the same way to loosen it? Either way, I admire your ingenious and spiffy printed solution!

Or a piece of hardwood against one of the teeth of the nut - tapping w hammer on other end of wood.

But then we would not have seen the picture of that special tool, that will be used again - err - hmmmm - maybe . . . 😂

The 3D tool was to tighten the nut that holds the base? Did it take long to design an accurate fit?

I drink it all day long sometimes. It’s bad. But my shifts at work change every week (cop). So I’m a wee bit addicted to the Java. I guess it’s not the greatest but.

Loosening it is the bigger problem, but yes.

I cannot take credit for the design, but the fact that someone designed it and put it for free on the Internet is the kind of thing that makes me still love the Internet. The fact that I could download that thing and make it is just SO cool.

Sort of like folks here at LTG share their knoledge and little tricks and experience - that's why I check in daily 😍

Espresso is much more caffeine-dense than drip coffee. The issue is that people often try to equate a single shot of espresso (often 1-1.5 floz) to a mug (often 16oz) of coffee. If I drank 16oz of espresso I'd probably die. :)
You need to try 4 shots of espresso over a 12-16 oz cup filled with ice. You will never drink regular iced coffee again.

Maybe this picture explains the tool a bit better - it is like a lasso w handle - and the more you twist the tighter it grips - as soon you let go it gets loose.

As for branding animals - I think the farmers today use another cruelty to mark their cattle - they punch a hole in the ear and attach a plastic tab w code . . .
