Oh yeah ! When we lived in North Carolina, one winter we left a pot of chili (covered) out on the deck --- next morning there was a note from the racoons saying they enjoyed it immensely.

We're landing on the moon today, a "soft landing", preferably I'm guessing, for the 1st time since 1972.
What a feeling.
Meanwhile, we just drove through the most insane pot holed roads to get wife to airport yesterday, even approaching the airport the effing holes in the road would definitely kill your tires, and your car eventually.
I wonder if we'll have better roads up there.
Time to feed the wood stove.

Oh how I love this "We are... thing" - I remember when in MN there was a day w 27 inches of snow -some radio stations were shouting "WE DID THE RECORD!" - in my humble opinion WE were on the receiving side

My wife saw some lady on TV state that dogs don't manipulate. Our reaction was, then you haven't ever seen a smart dog!
Our dog learned to block the door out to the garage until a treat of some sort was given. He learned the signs of the " family is going somewhere. " and stands sideways in front of the door before we get there and tries his best to not be moved from that spot.
But dogs don't manipulate, said the TV lady.
