okay I'm trying to stay calm here..... picked up groceries at the store and then came home. I'm dreading the summer heat and I'm in a thermal shirt and it's 73 inside and only 66 outside. So I'll just open some windows..... cool right? NO!! My blinds on my patio slider in my room self destructed and now the morning light will blind me in the morning. I just wish for once I could try to do something normal (like open the windows for fresh air) and not have life come crashing down on me ..... I'm just sooooo pissed right now. Blanket and a staple gun then. JEEZE!!!

I'll be okay one day, I think..... maybe.

Sorry for laughing 😂 - but we had about 36F difference when going out - such fine weather - no clouds - no wind - just sunshine and gently melting snow that was not slippery under your shoes.

Them patio blinds . . . 😂 - sorry hard to not laugh 😂 - surely ( = maybe ) there's a solution 😂

Part of my 😂 stems from the fact that I live in the north - and for me the summer nights w pleeeeeenty of light are next to heaven ☮️

I was sooooo frustrated and lost my cool, but I mostly posted it for everyone's amusement. Painter's tape saved the day. Blinds are up and functioning well, if not aesthetically pleasing.:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::p

"Dear Jann:
So, I am in a band. The lead singer is a jackass and the guitarist is a drug addict. The drummer is having commitment issues. What do I do? I am the bass player.

Dear Hopeless:
Hang in there, you're about to make it really really big!

A few years back I was "going off" about something like this in front of one of my co-workers (we worked in a psychiatric facility). He patiently listened, then in a very faux-empathic tone at the end of my rant just said, "such suffering." I got a good laugh out of his smart-assed, yet succinct response. I later told my wife about it, and now she uses the "such suffering" response to all of my rants over relatively small "problems." It has not, however, stopped my going-off about all the everyday sh*t one runs into. You go guy!

Is this in the media, or did you pickup some pizzas?

Neither. I was hungry, and it's gray, wet, and by my standards cool outside (just turned on the heat) so staying inside and eating seems like a good way to spend the day, or at least part of it.

Just had ice cream. Now I need salty, however hot loaded meat lover's pizza sure sounds good, too. But that will take hours to make. I'll have pretzels while I think about it.

Surely you've got a couple of these lying about?:

Thank you for the suggestion. I've been known to lick a salt block - a fresh one. The red ones don't taste very good.

It's cold and rainy outside, and those salt blocks have spit on them. I'll stay inside with Walmart butter twist pretzels - salty, peppery, and garlicky with no spit on them.
