I have a line on one, needs a neck set that's $325..asking almost $3k...what do you guys think? TIA
Also, if it is the one on reverb now, I would not say a pickguard crack is "typical." Could be an easy cleat a glue, or a sign of other issues (other than the reset)...I have a line on one, needs a neck set that's $325..asking almost $3k...what do you guys think? TIA
never paid more than $350A neck reset on an F512 is never going to be $325, unless you have a very good friend. Realistically, it you do the work properly, it will include at least a partial refret, and fretboard planing. Figure on at least $7-800 for all that work. Even at a staring point of $2000, I wouldn't think it's a good buy.
How long ago was that?never paid more than $350
Well, have at it then. I wouldn't.got an awesome luthier in Charleston..cheaper here than NY
