Hi there ,
I just bought a 1966 Guild Starfire III .
Unfortunately the guitar came without the bigsby rocker aluminum bridge , so I decided to order a stainless steel from Compton or Tru-Arc , but I don't know the spacing recourse there is no bridge to measure from E to E . :(

Is there anybody with a vintage SF III that could help me ?

Thanks :)

Hello fuzz63,

Welcome! Was just going to answer your e-mail when I saw this posting, so I will just take care of this one.
Polepiece spacing on the bridge pickup of your 1966 Starfire III should be 50 mm, so the string spacing on your bridge should be a tad wider than that. The string slots on Bigsby bridges from that period can vary somewhat but they're mostly somewhere around 50 mm, but anything between 50 and 52 mm should work.

Good luck!
