Here's another one I've decided to cut loose. I'm only doing so because I just made a trade with LTGer Charlie (Iceman) for his DV 72. Just a quick plug in case you are looking to do business with Charlie. He's a stand up guy both as a buyer and a seller/trader. Deal in confidence. Every transaction we've had (and there have been many) has been fair and pleasant.
So, this is the D 70NT. There have been at least 3 different versions of this guitar that I'm aware of. One has the carved neck like the D 100 NT CRV, one is the DK 70 Peacock which is an all Koa model blinged out to the hilt and drop dead gorgeous. I owned one and wish I still had it but a collector on the West Coast told me he'd give me $1k more than I paid for it and didn't much care about the cost. It was too much for me to walk away from. The last is the D 70 NT w/o the carved neck which is the guitar I'm selling.
If I were to list it on Reverb I'd call it very good. There are a couple smaller dings on the soundboard I tried to capture and the bridge has been reglued. I know of no issues with the guitar. It's a beauty with a killer sound/tone. It was also sent to Tom Jacobs for a wellness check. Tom Reglued the bridge and did some touch up in the bridge area. He also leveled the frets and did some touch up around the tuning machine holes and set the guitar up to my liking.
I had bought this one from LTGer Andrew Wagner. Many of us have lusted over his superb collection of Guilds.
Here's a little info:
-Spruce top
-Excellent neck angle and Low E string height at about 5/64"
-RW back and sides
-Ebony bridge and fingerboard
-25 5/8" scale
-Ivory nut and saddle
-Trapezoid board inlays
-G Shield peghead inlay
-Ebony TRC
-Gold plated tuning machines
-Beautiful Maple binding on the body and fingerboard
-OHSC
