OK, cool. Well, I guess I just never saw the catalog pages for them before.
As a total veer, lookin at the Paloma (SC3), I wonder why they didn't do that as a fan fretted guitar. It looks like it was meant to be one.
In any case, boy those are beautiful guitars. I'll bet the Nashville guys were pretty proud of them!

Maybe they were trying to compete with the Gibson Chet Atkins SST or the Godin Multiac?

I would think increased cost. With all the jigs (I assume) and measurements well established adding fan frets would complicate the build. I would also think that fan frets would have been a bit niche.
Having written all that I really want a fan fret guitar.
