I don't know if being uncommon makes it valuable. Personally, I like wrap tail bridges, no binding, and dot fretboards, so I think it's kinda sexy. But, I'm not the one that's going to make it worth selling.

Somewhere out there is probably a person that's been looking for exactly that guitar. Finding that person might be a challenge :) .

The look sort of reminds me of a Les Paul Jr., which makes me think that it would rock if it had P90s. I'm a fan of the "slab 'o 'hog with P90s" design.

What's the wood on this guitar?

Have to say this. Saw Brian Setzer tour behind his "Knife Feels Like Justice" LP back in the 80's and it was really strange seeing him onstage with a bunch of Guild solidbodies, especially the model with the hum, single , single pickup combo and either a Floyd Rose or a Kahler locking trem. Still sounded great though.

Body is mahogany, top wood is spruce.

I know the "real" nightbirds often have spruce (mine is maple), but this one doesn't look like spruce. Do we have a reference for it being spruce? For this build, I'd greatly prefer all 'hog (like a LP Jr) or 'hog with a maple top (like a LP).

GAD,

This guitar has a maple top!
