These Tacoma plant Guilds by now we’re using scalloped Adirondack spruce bracing and were a lot lighter. Mine feels very light and resonant.I like mine so much that once when I wanted money to buy some ham radio equipment, I sold a Brazilian D28 rather than the F50. Enjoy it and welcome to LTG. Oh, I agree with Richardp69, hands down the best maple jumbo I ever played,
I like the gold Grover’s on mine better, but the newer Guilds are always getting better for sure. Mine has 17 years of age on it, and it seems like its opened up nicely.If you ever get a chance, NEALLA, check out a New Hartford built version. Even a little lighter (different tuning machines) and best of breed, IMO. Not to knock a beautiful Tacoma version though!!
